Day 4, Morning session of DNB CET exam was conducted on June 18th 2017.

Detailed Exam Analysis of DNB CET – JUNE 18th 2017 Morning Session.
Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate:
Based on the results of polling, the Session 1 of June 18, 2017 comprised of moderate level questions. Many questions were asked from previous years. Again, exam was not lengthy and if one had decent management skills; one could easily go through all the questions.
Deciders/High Weightage Subjects:
Decider or the Subject that could bring an effectual difference to your overall ranking was PSM. After PSM, many questions were also seen from Obs & Gynae, Biochemistry and Anatomy.
Low Weightage Subjects:
Subjects that carried considerably low weightage in the Morning shift were Anesthesia, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.
Pattern of Questions:
In the Morning session of Day 4 exam, many one liners and theoretical questions were asked. Factual based questions also appeared in this session.
If one has good theoretical knowledge, it is easy to answer most of the questions.
Pre-clinical and Para-clinical subjects contributed the majority of the exam. Moreover, questions based on criteria, scales and scoring system were also asked.
Maximum topics were covered. Many questions were repeated from same topics. Approx. 30-50 questions were repeated.
Repeated questions were also seen; some were direct whereas some questions were asked in an indirect manner. Options of some questions were tricky that left the candidate in a confusing situation.
Image-Based Questions:
This session included about 10 Image-Based MCQs. Level of image-based questions asked was moderate.
Distribution of Questions:
In DNB CET, total number of questions asked is 300.

NOTE: In this session, about 20% of questions were from short subjects. Direct Questions from PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series
Exam pattern of Morning session of June 18th 2017 DNB CET exam matched with the pattern of PrepLadder exams. Many questions were asked from our mock test series. 5 questions were direct from the test series of PrepLadder whereas more than 20 questions were there in an indirect manner.

June 17th, Day 3 Session 2: Conclusion
As per the reviews of candidates, the overall level of exam was moderate. Many questions that appeared in this session were theoretical and factual based. Moreover, repeated questions were also seen in this exam.
Questions from Pre-clinical and Para-clinical subjects were also there in this session.
Around 20% of MCQs from short subjects were asked. Candidates those who would have revised their basics and practised properly, would have surely done good in this session.
