Detailed Exam Analysis of DNB CET – JUNE 15th 2017 Evening Session
Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate:
As per the results of the poll, the Session 2 of June 15, 2017 was of moderate level. Many candidates said that many questions were repeated from previous years. They also shared that exam was not lengthy rather if one has decent skills of time management, then one can go through all the questions comfortably.
Deciders/High Weightage Subjects:
Decider or the Subject that could bring a worthwhile difference to your overall ranking was PSM. After PSM, most asked questions were from Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Surgery.
Low Weightage Subjects:
Subjects that carried considerably low weightage in the second shift were Pediatrics and Anesthesia.
Pattern of Questions:
‘One-liners’ dominated the evening session exam once again. Clinical questions were not seen in this session. Rather, most crucial subjects from where the majority of questions appeared were pre-clinicals. Repeated questions were also seen. Some questions were direct whereas some were asked in a twisted manner.
Image-Based Questions – Substantial Weight Age:
Approximately 20 questions asked in the exam were Image-Based. The level of such questions was moderate.
Distribution of Questions:
This exam constitutes of 300 questions in total.

Further, go through the previously asked questions once. As short subjects carried 25% of overall weightage, they cannot be ignored as they can really help you achieve your goal i.e. clear DNB CET 2017.
