Eligibility Criteria

Admission to All India Quota Seats is open to ‘All the candidates’ selected as ‘Qualified’ through NEET-PG 2017 exam organized by the NBE Through the notification issued by the Kolkata High Court, ‘Eligibility Criteria’ is defined as applying for the ‘Open Category’ out of the State Quota seats for the eligible candidates.

Management Quota Seats – Important Details

For the first time, Management Quota seats in the Private Institutions in West Bengal 2017 are going to be filled through the Online Counseling conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). All candidates who have qualified in NEET-PG 2017 hold the eligibility to participate in seat allotment process for Private Management Quota Seats in West Bengal. No Caste Reservation exists in Private Management Quota Seats; therefore, ‘Caste Candidates’ are required to appear as ‘Unreserved’. All India NEET PG 2017 Merit Rank will serve as the sole criteria for admission to the Management Quota seats.

Conditions for Government Sponsored In-Service Category

Candidates who are in regular service for 3 years or more under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, West Bengal Government and sponsored by the same will be considered for the Government Sponsored In-Service category seats and are ‘NOT PERMITTED’ to apply under the ‘Open Category’ seats.
