Punjab NEET PG Admissions On-hold

Here is an important update for the candidates of NEET-PG 2018, who participated in or are going to participate in Punjab State Counseling. With reference to the CWP No. 7691 of 2018 titled as Dr. Abhay Raj Singh Vs SOP & ors. In context of NEET PG 2018 State Counseling, the interim order of the Honorable High Court  has been received in the evening of April 3,2018. The context of the order is reproduced as under: “Adjourned to 19.04.2018 to enable the respondents to file the reply. In the meantime, the counseling may go on but the result be kept in a sealed cover.” In this regard, complying to the orders issued by the Hon’ble Court, it is informed to all the candidates who have opted a seat in any PG Course in the counseling held on April 3,2018 in any Medical College of the State that their joining in the Medical Colleges is on hold till the further orders of Hon’ble High Court. The update in this regard will be available on the University website from time to time, hence the candidates are required to keep themselves updated with the University website. Similarly, the candidates who will attend a seat in the counseling to be held on 4 &5 April, 2018, are also informed that their joining will also be kept on hold till the further orders of Hon’ble High Court.
