Category Application Fee NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals ₹ 5,000 General/2A/2B/3A/3B ₹ 1,000 SC/ST/Cat-1/PWD ₹ 500
Once you have completed the application process, you must retain two copies of the application form (duly filled and submitted) and payment receipt of the application fee for future reference.
Online verification of documents is the next most crucial step of the counselling process.
Candidates must get all their relevant documents verified by the concerned authorities if they want to be considered for the seat allotment in the NEET PG Karnataka counselling. For the same, a candidate needs to upload the relevant documents in a PDF format along with the application form.
All the candidates who successfully complete the online verification of documents will be issued a ‘Verification Acknowledgement.’ Candidates must check the printed details on the acknowledgement carefully and immediately inform the officials in case of any discrepancy.
The acknowledgement also contains an alphanumeric unique secret key. Candidates are required to set the password for the registered account on the KEA’s official website using this secret key.

Each college will have four different categories of seats, namely Government, Private, NRI and others, and there’s a different fee structure for each category. Candidates have to choose the course/college of their choice in the order of individual preference.
On the basis of the seat matrix for admission, the State Merit list, and on the basis of choices filled by the candidates, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will prepare the seat allotment list for the NEET PG counselling of Karnataka.
Candidates who are allocated a seat in the 1st/2nd round of the counselling session will now have to decide if they want to retain or surrender the allocated seat. A candidate has to login to their registered account on the official website and choose from the below-mentioned 4 options:
Option 1: Candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him, and he/she is willing to report to the allotted college. He/she is not interested in further rounds of the counselling process.
Option 2: Candidate is satisfied with the allocated seat. However, he/she wishes to participate further in the next round.
Option 3: Candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to him and subsequently wants to surrender the seat. However, he would like to participate in further rounds of counselling.
Option 4: Candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to him and wants to surrender it. And he/she does not want to participate in further rounds of counselling for any discipline.
Note: In case a candidate opts for Option 1 or 2 but is not able to join the allocated institute. Then he/she must mandatorily report to the allocated institute. Failure to do so in the stipulated time will be considered as blocking of the seat and will attract a penalty.
Hence, it is recommended to report to the allocated institute in the given time.
Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she has to carry all the original documents that were uploaded during the registration process. After successful verification of the authenticity of all the documents and their comparison with the documents submitted online, the institute will issue admission letters to all eligible candidates.
Any discrepancy found in the set of documents during the verification process will result in the cancellation of the admission by the institute, and the fees paid by the candidate will be forfeited.
