If you are a medical aspirant, you would know for sure the importance of The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET). It’s one of the most crucial exams for medical graduates aspiring for MD, MS, M.Ch. (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS programs in top institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS. This exam is conducted twice a year, determining admissions for the January and July sessions.

If you wish to appear for the INI-CET 2025, you must meet the following eligibility criteria requirements.
Meeting these requirements is essential to be eligible for the INI-CET May 2025 and proceed with the application process.
If you are applying for the INI-CET 2025 July session, you must first complete the registration process through the official website. We’ve mentioned everything you need to know for filling out the application form.
You must visit the official INI-CET 2025 website and complete the registration form by filling in the essential details including name, date of birth, address, email id, and mobile number.

Then comes the step where you are required to upload scanned copies of all your necessary documents. The list will include a photograph, signature, your passport size photograph, and your left thumb impression. These should be as per the specification set by the exam authorities.
Once you are done with the registration, you will be required to generate a unique code through the login portal. This will enable you to proceed with the final INI-CET registration.
Note: You must generate a new EUC for each exam session, as previously used codes cannot be reused.
You must fill in all your details including educational qualifications, medical registration details, and internship details. Once you are done with filling the details, you must proceed with filling the application fees which is ₹4,000 for General/OBC/Foreign Nationals/OCI applicants & ₹3,200 for SC/ST/EWS candidates.
Note: People with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the fee.
Candidates are required to select their preferred exam centers based on the priority for the INI-CET July 2025 session. You can only proceed with this step after the list of the exam centers is released in the official information bulletin.
After you’ve successfully submitted the form, you are advised to take a printout of the completed form for future reference.

The exam pattern, whenever released, will contain details about the exam including mode, medium, total number of questions, their type, marking scheme etc. The official brochure is expected to be released in the second week of March 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 17, 2025.

Remember, only those candidates can apply for the exam who have a valid MBBS degree from a recognized college or University.
AIIMS has already started the basic registration for INI-CET 2025 July session on March 10, 2025. Candidates will have to complete the basic registration first in order to submit the application form.
