The AIIMS PG entrance examination is a national level examination of extreme prominence. It is held twice in a year. Once in November for Admission in January session and once in May for admission in July session.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the dates for AIIMS PG entrance exam, for July session. The exam notification will be available tentatively from March, 2016. The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode and the number of seats may vary in each session. Tentatively, AIIMS PG 2016 July session exam will be held on 8 May 2016 (Sunday) and the result will be announced on 14 May 2016(Saturday). Dates for the counseling will be declared later.
The number of seats available for July session are 124 seats approximately, excluding the seats for Foreign candidates. About 49.5% seats are reserved.

Other than this 3% seats are reserved for Orthopedic handicapped and 25.5% are reserved for candidates who have done MBBS from AIIMS.

There is an obligatory eligibility criteria in order to apply for AIIMS PG 2016 July session. The norms for the eligibility are given below.
Candidates have to fill the application form online, which will be released in the month of March tentatively. Candidates are advised to go through the information brochure to fill the application form for AIIMS PG. Candidates can submit the fee through both online and offline mode.

The result of AIIMS PG 2016 for July Session will be declared soon after the completion of the main examination. Candidates for the further round will be shortlisted via this declared result.
