You have consistently followed a preparation strategy all these months, which has helped you clear Prelims. Relying on a different medium will only complicate the entire process, and it is best to avoid it. Therefore, stick to your current resources and believe in your preparation. 

Revise Current Affairs Thoroughly

Current Affairs is one of the crucial ingredients parts of the UPSC CSE Prelims and Mains exam. One of the best tips we can give you is to align your Current Affairs knowledge with the topics in your static syllabus. 

While UPSC mostly asks questions from the static syllabus, its questions have elements of Current Affairs embedded within them. This is why it is paramount that you align your answers with relevant current events along with the concepts and theories.

Have a Clear Strategy For Static Subject Revision

The static subject portion of the UPSC CSE exam syllabus is the only predictable portion. However, that does not make it any easier to prepare for and still requires a well-thought-out approach for thorough preparation.   

You will need a daily, weekly, and month-end revision plan for the static syllabus portion. This will help you cover the basic syllabus within 30 days and be well prepared for the upcoming UPSC Mains 2022 exam. 

Here is a two-step approach to make your static syllabus preparation more effective. Follow the steps given below to make your preparation more productive. 

Step 1 - In the first 25-30 days, try to complete your revision of all the subjects. Give yourself sufficient time to go through the subjects. However, do not take too long. Revision at this stage should be comprehensive but also within the time limit.

In the UPSC Mains exam, you will have only around 8 minutes for every question you attempt. Also, when it is the real exam, you will undoubtedly be under a lot of pressure.
