After completing the basics, one should prepare the current affairs. For this, one can go through PrepLadder Monthly Magazines or Prem Sodhani Sir’s Weekly current affairs videos. Along with it, one should also go through the Budget and Economic Survey Analysis by Vivek Singh Sir as well. While going through these documents, one should specifically focus on the schemes given in them as UPSC generally asks questions from these areas.

Finally, one should attempt the mock tests to identify the weak areas and work on those weak areas. For Mains, one should try to make use of equations, diagrams, charts and cycles while writing answers of economics.
