It mostly involves le upper lobe and compress the normal lower lobe and normal opposite lung. It results in respiratory distress. Patient may need surgery in severe cases. Ipsilateral normal lobe compressed.

Laryngomalacia (MC cause of stridor in infants) · No treatment is required.
Palatal petechiae, Red congested enlarged tonsil, Treatment is antibiotics.
Cherry Red Epiglottis · It is a bacterial infection · Treatment: Antibiotics.
‘Thumb sign' or 'Thumbprint sign’ · Seen in acute epiglottis.
